As I’ve mentioned before, the boats full of fresh groceries arrive on Saba on Tuesday evenings and I do my shopping for the week the following morning. As I walked into the store in the morning, I was greeted by the store owner and she whispered to me that the boats were late that day and I may want to come back later. Luckily I only had a couple of things on my list for that week so I did my shopping anyway. I just hope that this won’t be happening too often while we’re here.

I also heard that the gas station ran out of gas this past week. It’s a good thing I had filled up already, but this made me think twice about letting my gas tank run all the way down. Yikes!
